Privacy Notice
Last updated: 22 October 2026
MLS Global provides private addiction and recovery consultancy, treatment navigation, case coordination and recovery support. This notice explains how personal information is handled when you contact or engage MLS Global.
Who is responsible for your information
MLS Global is the trading name used for this service. Privacy enquiries can be sent to info@mlsglobal.co.uk. Appropriate legal and contracting details are provided directly before an engagement begins.
Information we may collect
We may collect your name, contact details, correspondence, information needed to understand an enquiry, contractual and payment information, and records necessary to provide an agreed service. Because of the nature of the work, information you choose to provide may include health or other sensitive personal information.
Please do not send detailed medical records, identification documents or highly sensitive information through an initial website enquiry unless specifically requested through an agreed secure method.
Why we use information
We use personal information to respond to enquiries, assess whether MLS Global can appropriately assist, communicate with you, arrange and deliver agreed services, coordinate with professionals or treatment providers where authorised, manage contracts and payments, meet legal or safeguarding obligations, and maintain appropriate business records.
Lawful basis
Depending on the circumstances, processing may be necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, to perform a contract, to comply with a legal obligation, or for legitimate interests in operating and protecting the service. Where special-category information such as health information is processed, an appropriate additional condition under UK data-protection law will be identified. Consent will be obtained where consent is the appropriate basis.
Sharing information
Information is not sold. It may be shared only where reasonably necessary with service providers supporting the operation of MLS Global, with clinicians, treatment providers or other professionals involved in a case where there is an appropriate basis to do so, or where disclosure is required or permitted by law. Where practical and appropriate, client involvement and permission will be sought before case information is shared with external professionals.
International work
MLS Global may work with clients and providers outside the UK. Where personal information needs to be transferred internationally, appropriate safeguards will be considered according to the destination and circumstances.
Retention and security
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and for applicable professional, contractual, insurance, safeguarding, tax or legal requirements. Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect personal information.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of your information, object to certain processing, request portability, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. To exercise a right, contact info@mlsglobal.co.uk.
Complaints
Please contact MLS Global first if you have a privacy concern. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

The website should use only cookies or similar technologies necessary for its operation unless additional consent is obtained for non-essential technologies. If analytics, advertising or other non-essential tracking is introduced, this notice and the site's consent controls will be updated before use.
